Default Photoshop CS3
I just got Adobe Photoshop CS3 and was all excited to install it. When I put the disc in, it said "Your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Please upgrade your system to Vista or install Service Pack 2".

Aghhhh!

I am currently running Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 1. Vista has too many bugs in it. And I can't stand Service Pack 2 because of the cheezy and VERY annoying Microsoft Firewall and the Security Center junk.

Yea, I know that SP2 plugs alot of holes and bugs in XP, but to date, I had no problems with security nor anything in SP1. Nor will I ever, haha!

Does anyone know how to bypass this "minimum requirement" thing?

I know there has to be a way to do it. Fool the computer by making it think its SP2...or something.

Thanks in advance.

That's what I ended up doing, but now Shareaza won't connect to the eDonkey server...no matter what.

And, yeah, I have turned the firewall off. It's still is affecting the program somehow...

Which is EXACTLY why I never wanted to install SP2 in the first place...

Ahh...so many problems.

I might have to reinstall Windows, just to get back to SP1 with everything working properly...

So I've had a chance to play around with CS3...

For an average home user, it's not worth upgrading from CS2. Not much differences, and definitely not worth the price difference.

If your a hardcore graphics design specialist, and make money from some variation of graphic design, yes, get CS3. It has some updated and new features that help with very detailed stuff.

I am thinking of getting Photoshop CS4. the computer I am going to install it on has Windows 7 Pro on it. Will I come across the need to upgrade error?
How can I find the minimum requirements for Photoshop CS4, so I won't waste money if my computer is not good enough?
