NerdHelp.com FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
If you can not find your answer here, feel free to ask it on the
forums.
Q: How much does it cost to use the services here at NerdHelp.com?
A: We do not believe that people should be forced to pay for help and advice, thus, all information and resources on NerdHelp.com are brought to you completely
free of charge.
Q: I found a glitch/error on your website, what should I do?
A: While we try to keep NerdHelp.com running as error-free as possible, the occasional glitches do surface. If you do happen to come across one, please report it to us either via our
Support Forums or by
Contacting Us. We appreciate your help in keeping NerdHelp.com error free.
Q: I can't seem to register on the forums, why?
A: This could be for various reasons. The majority of the time it has something to do with a glitch on our part. Feel free to post exactly what is going on in our
Guest Kiosk. Please keep in mind that our
Terms of Service do apply to you while posting in our
Support Forums even if you are not a registered member.
Q: When I try to access the forums, it says that I have been banned, what happened?
A: If you have been banned, that means you did something which one or more of our moderators felt disrupted the forum/community and blatantly violated the
Terms of Service you agreed to when registering at NerdHelp.com.
However, if you feel you were unjustly removed from the forums, feel free to
Contact Us and your claims will be looked into via our logs and records.
Q: I appreciate all the help I received from NerdHelp.com, what can I do to repay you?
A: While some have offered to donate to NerdHelp.com, it is flattering, however, we do not accept such donations. While NerdHelp.com is a free service and essentially a non-profit website, we make due with the few banner ads that are shown in the forums. If you really want to repay the generosity you received here by the community members, then you need not do anything more than simply being an active member of the
Support Forums. The forums are not only a rich source of knowledge, they are the keystone of the NerdHelp.com community, which is held together by its active members.
